On Tuesday Matua Elmars brought in a Huntsman spider. It was cute and cuddly. I got to hold it. The builders found it by Room five then they gave it to Matua Elmars. They don’t make webs and they come from Australia. They have orange claws and they grow about the size of your fist. I love spiders!!!

Elmars told us the Huntsman was found in Australia and came to New Zealand two years ago. There are not many left. The spider was hairy and creepy. It had orange claws and long legs. It was as long as a finger, it was brown and black.
